MSc Student, Geospatial Data Science & Ecosystem Science and Management

About

I am a geospatial data scientist interested in exploring how climate and predation risk factors influence species in accessing water. My thesis research will create optimal corridors for giraffe species to reach waterways by taking into consideration predation risk using land cover and changing water availability using radar imaging. My research aims to contribute strategies to guide habitat and corridor management in Kenya and study the important role of water for commonly water-independent species.
