Postdoctoral Research Fellow

About

My research interests lie in the intersection of landscape ecology, carnivore biology, and conservation science. I am broadly interested in understanding how carnivores navigate complex, human-modified landscapes, and how such knowledge can inform effective conservation planning. During my doctoral research in India, I used genetic and spatial tools to understand carnivore population connectivity and evaluate the effectiveness of single-species management strategies for broader multispecies conservation outcomes. As an IGCB research fellow, I aim to extend this work by investigating the socio-economic drivers of connectivity and associated human-wildlife conflict risk, particularly in the context of global environmental change.
